Alex doesn't have much hair - but he had out of control hair - and was starting to look like Bozo the clown. So, on Friday, I took him for his first hair cut.
He did great. He didn't cry at all but didn't necessarily love it! I did ok also - I think because I was distracted. It's hard work keeping a 13 month old's fingers out of the scissors.
Because I took him to my salon by myself and I had to hold him, I didn't get any pictures of the actual haircut. I do have some before and after shots. Alex and I celebrated after his hair cut by going to BRU to do some shopping and then to Cheesecake Factory for lunch.
This was before. You can't really see his curls in this picture, but you can see my messy Family Room!
I LOVE this picture. I usually don't take very good pictures of him, but I thought this one was great.
Here we are at Cheesecake Factory. Of course, Alex was flirting with ALL of the waitresses and giving high fives to the waiters.
Sort of a side view - It's still kind of hard to see that the curls are gone.
Here he is just being silly.

Hopefully they grow back. Derek's did. That was the only reason I wouldn't cut his hair... keep your fingers crossed!!!

So cute! I like the haircut! He looks very handsome!
Oh, I love the Cheesecake Factory. I have not been in so long. We wanted to go there on Saturday night, but sweet pea Savannah could not wait 50-70 minutes and then sit through dinner.
Your family room resembles mine. I don't even think of it as a mess any longer. That is its normal state. We were looking at photos from a year ago and couldn't believe how neat the house looked. You know what-I will take the clutter. I am so happy to have our baby girl!
We used to say that Bray was "Krusty the Clown" before we cut his curls off - but I plan to let them grow back in this summer! Alex looks like such a handsome little man with that haircut - he is gorgeous!!!
Hey, are you going to the brunch this weekend? We would LOVE to meet you & Alex in person!!!
