Well - we had quite a weekend. I went to Target and Babies R Us on Saturday to finish purchasing items that we needed. When I got home and unloaded the car, it looked like Babies R Us threw up in our family room.
Jay steamed cleaned the carpets in the house, we moved the furniture in our bedroom, set up the crib, finished washing Alex's clothes, put them in his closet, put together his toy holder, unpacked all of the presents and things I bought. It was quite a day!
I actually bought two diaper bags, because I can't make up my mind! Part of me wants to keep both of them, but we'll see.
But - guess what - the border still isn't up in the room!!! :) You'd think I could get that done.
On the "getting Alex home front," we were submitted for his new birth certificate on the 20th. We should get it sometime this week, and then get submitted to the embassy. I hope we get submitted by the end of this week. We would then get our "pink" slip next week and have our appointment the week after. That's still my thought....hopefully I'm right....I just want to get there and bring him home!
