Away from my Baby

I'm traveling on business again tonight. :( (Chicago - again!!) It's amazing how much I miss that little guy. (Especially since he decided to wake up at 5:00 am and didn't go back to sleep until 6:15 - and I had to get up at 6:30!!)

Tomorrow night might be a big night for him. Jay is working really late right now, and I won't be getting home until close to midnight. Michelle is going to pick him up from daycare (like she did today) and he may be spending the night at her house. It's his first sleep over and the first time that he will be away from both Jay and I overnight. I know he will be fine - and I TOTALLY trust Michelle - I just think I'm going to have a hard time with this.

Oh well - I'll get over it!!

I hate leaving AP. She does fine.... I go nuts. Try to actually relax and sleep in your hotel..... I'm trying to remember what sleep is like ;)

I'm sure it's going to be harder on you than him.

I haven't even left Gabriella with a babysitter yet!!!

I know how you feel. You and Alex (and you dear husband!) are in my prayers.

Peace and Hugs,

We have only left Kaleb once, but will be again in May when we do a visit trip to TX. It feels weird when you don't have someone attached to your hip. Try to enjoy for time. OHHHHH I love Chicago, the shopping, pizza, shopping!!!!!

You are very brave. It is good that you have someone you can trust. I have never been away from Savannah for more than a few hours. Alex is such an adaptable child. You are very blessed. Safe travels! You will love those hugs and kisses when you get home.
