Would You Like to See Baby A?

Kerry pointed out to me today that Baby A's picture is up on the Mayan Families' Blog (there is now another post on the blog - to see the baby, you will need to scroll down to the March 25th entry)

If you are interested in helping Baby A's (and other babies like him) with formula, you can donate to Mayan Families' Food and Milk Program.

On another note - I really want to wear Baby A as much as possible when he is here since that's what he is used to. I have a Baby Bjorn that we used with Alex. Does anyone have any experience/opinions on either the Mayan Wrap or the Mei Tais? Does anyone have one of either that they might be willing to let me borrow?

It's starting to really hit me that I'm about to have two kids in this house. I'm still very excited - and a little freaked out. I know that we will be fine - but I'm now just anxious for him to get here!!

I don't know about either of those. I love the ergo baby carrier. It's so great. http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/

I saw that post on the website and was wondering if he was coming to you. So excited for you. I do have a bumbo if you want to borrow it. I might also have some onsies and other clothes in yellow. Let me know if you want those also.

I think it is awesome that you will have two little Alex's at your house! He is just precious and his young mother is so beautiful! I know she will miss him while he is here with you, but if she only knew what an incredible lady was going to be caring for him while he is here! I am sure Sharon will be able to share pictures of him with her while he is here too!

And... if he is back in Guatemala when I go down this fall, maybe I can get updated pictures for YOU!

Can't wait to meet this little guy!! I also saw a picture of him on the blog all the way down in January when he was 4 months old... so sweet!

Will COTA be brining him to you? How do they handle transportation? Just wondering since maybe I could escort him home in October/November when I go back to Mayan Families...

I am tearing up right now. That is such an awesome thing you and your husband are doing. I didn't know you could foster children from Guatemala. That may be in our future. Awesome!!! Praise God!!! The first family broke my heart and I am sooo glad that they are getting a home.
