What a Great Day

Spring has finally sprung in Kentucky - and it's about time!!

Alex and I had a wonderful day today.

We first went shoe shopping. I was in desperate need of new summer sandals. So, we are in Payless (yes, I know, but I needed a lot of shoes, and this fit in my budget) and Alex proceeded to take about 5 pairs of shoes and line them up. He then kept saying over and over, "I like shoes! I like shoes!" Every now and then he would stop his shoe obsessing and would jam to the music that was playing. He had me CRACKING up!

We then grabbed lunch, headed to the park, and met up with Lori and Cohen . We had a great lunch, let the boys play and run, and Lori and I had a great time chatting.

I remembered my camera - but never took it out of the diaper bag. I know - horrible - horrible.

Cohen is just about the most adorable thing ever. And the boy can run - those little legs are going to take him places!!

Thanks Lori and Cohen for a great afternoon!!!

(I'll be MIA for the weekend - we leave in the morning to head to St. Louis to get the newest member of our family and bring him home!)

Oh wow, most people get a puppy, lol. I've recently latched onto Kohls for shoes (did you know they carry Aerosole now?). Have a fantastic weekend!

What is it with shoes at this age? I had to put all the shoes up high, because Savannah will take out every pair and put them on and if they get stuck or she can't get them on or off, watch out. She even wants to wear them over her pj footies! I can't take her shoe shopping. She will pull every shoe off the rack in no time.

I have left my camera in the baby bag the last three times we went to the park, because I can't chase her and take pictures.
