My Artist

I was going to do a post about Alex's birthday party that was on Saturday. (we had a great time - more later)

Instead, I had to show you what I found on the refrigerator when I got home.

Alex spent the afternoon in the big boy class today (the one year old class) and he made this. Of course I think it's wonderful, and he's obviously a genius. That elephant and gorilla that paints have nothing on my little guy!! :)

It is amazing! How special! For Mother's Day? Definitely Van Gogh or a Picasso in the future???

You know, that REALLY is good for a one year old!!! Most little tots are doing good to get a few stray marks on the page, but it looks like Alex is focused and in control!!!!

You have a future artist there. I love those first pictures. It is something you will treausre for ever. What is so funny is when you pull them out years from now and the kiddos are amazed that you kept them.
