Sex and the City **SPOILER ALERT**

If you haven't seen it, and you don't want to know anything, move on to your next blog. (and I really liked the movie. It felt like a really long episode)

Did anyone else go see it last night? If so, I have a few questions.

It looks like the version we saw at our local movie theatre was a poorly edited version, and I didn't know if that was the way for everyone. There were about 5-8 scenes where we could see the boom mike at the top of the screen, and even one section where we could see the lighting stuff. The theatre couldn't stop laughing. I've never seen anything like that before at the movie theatre.

Was anyone else bothered by the Charlotte story line. Not so much that she got pregnant, but that "her doctor told her that many people get pregnant after adopting." I sat there and thought - great - there we go again - lets get even MORE women thinking that it happens all the time. And did anyone else notice that Lily was in almost every scene until Charlotte got pregnant, and then she didn't appear again (until the final scene). She wasn't even at the hospital when her sister was born. I'm sure I'm just being overly sensitive. :)

I thought the same thing about the Charlotte plot. I was so mad about the line, about getting pregnant after adopting. I wanted to stand up and scream, "That didn't happen to me!!!"
I was also pissed that Lily was not shown after Charlotte got prego!! What happen to her? Did she get a nanny? I was happy to finally see her in the last scene.

All that aside I really enjoyed the movie, and was happy I went on opening night, the estrogen in that theater pumped the movie up.

I give it 3 out of 4 stars, only because I think Carrie forgave big a little to easily at the end!!

I am a huge fan of SATC and have followed the show since the beginning when on HBO. I saw the movie on Sunday and loved it!

Honestly until you said it I didn't notice that Lily wasn't in the scene's. I think they focus a lot of the movie on the girls and not always the family, I think. As a matter of fact they didn't have anyone else visit in the scene except for Carrie at the hospital--you would think your best friends would be at the hospital after the birth of a child. They wanted that scene to be focused on carrie and how BIG was there. So I bet it was on the cutting room floor or else the movie would have been 3-4 hours long. LOL.

As far as the part about the adoption comment, even though I have never adopted, they should have never generalized it and said it happens. They should have said anything at all.

I never noticed any mics or bloopers. If you noticed I am sure I would have...and I live in Louisville.

Overall it was great. It totally added closure to the show. I also agree that Carrie was to quick to forgive BIG and that it wasn't all Amanda's fault from her comment--it was BIG and his confused manner on Marriage. OK, I better stop here- this I think is the longest blog comment I have ever made- get me talking about the movie and I am in trouble.

Have a great day....
