My Fortune

We had Chinese takeout for Christmas Eve dinner. We didn't eat the fortune cookies at the time as we were getting ready to head for church.

So, Christmas morning I'm feeding Alex his breakfast. It was just the two of us, and I decided to open one of the fortune cookies - and of course I started crying.

I give this fortune to all of my blog buddies that are going through this amazing, crazy ride known as adoption.

It matters not what road we take but rather what we become on the journey.
Here's to all of us who are becoming/have become mommies on this journey!

Wow! That's the best thing I think I've heard come out of a fortune cookie!! Thanks for sharing and Thank you very much for your information regarding Guatemala and travel! I truly appreciate any input! I'm a planner - not much for surprises!! I do realize that anything can happen! Thanks!!

That is so true. Just something to bring tears to my eyes. Thanks for the encouraging words. I actually found out that I went into PGN on Friday.
